Hokkaido is home to some of Japan’s most beautiful rivers and unique freshwater fish.

Our guided fishing trips take you into the wild rivers of Hokkaido in search of species such as Ito (Japanese Huchen), Rainbow Trout, Amemasu (White-spotted Char), and Oshorokoma (Japanese Dolly Varden).

We provide a private and personalized fishing experience for up to 3 guests per guide.

Target Species

Ito

The legendary Ito is one of Hokkaido’s most iconic freshwater fish.

Best seasons are May, June, October and November, with June and October being the peak periods.

Rainbow Trout

Rainbow Trout can be targeted from May through October, with particularly good opportunities in June, July and October.

Amemasu

Amemasu can be targeted from May through November, with September and October being the best periods.

Oshorokoma

Oshorokoma can be targeted mainly from June through September.
