Do I need a fishing license?

For most of our guided fishing trips, you do not need to obtain a fishing license yourself.
We will let you know if any special permit or license is required for your trip.

Can beginners join?

Yes! Beginners are welcome.

Our guides can adjust the fishing techniques and equipment to your experience level. You do not need to be an experienced angler to enjoy a fishing trip in Japan.

Can I rent fishing equipment?

Yes. Rental tackle is available for an additional fee.

Rental tackle starts from free-¥3,000 per set, depending on the type of fishing.

Please let us know what equipment you need when making your booking.

Can I bring my own fishing gear?

Absolutely.

If you have your own favorite rods, reels, or lures, you are welcome to bring them. We can also recommend suitable tackle depending on your target species and fishing location.

How can I pay for the guide service?

Payment can be made by online credit card payment or Wise.

Please note that cancellations cannot be accepted after payment has been made.

Cash payment is available only for Lake Biwa bass fishing guide services.

How many people can join a trip?

The maximum number of guests depends on the fishing trip and boat.

For Normaly, up to3- 5 guests can join one boat.

Please contact us if you are traveling with a larger group.

What is included in the guide fee?

This depends on the fishing trip.

The guide fee generally includes the guide service and boat fee where applicable.

Rental tackle, lures, food, drinks, transportation, and other additional costs may be charged separately.

Please check the details of each fishing trip before booking.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather
Hat and sunglasses
Sunscreen
Drinks
Rain gear if necessary
Your own fishing equipment, if you prefer to use it

Please dress appropriately for the season and weather conditions.

Are food and drinks included?

Food and drinks are generally not included in the guide fee.

Depending on the fishing trip, we may be able to arrange lunch and drinks upon request.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first.

If weather or water conditions make fishing unsafe, we may need to change the schedule, location, or cancel the trip.

We will contact you as soon as possible if the weather is expected to affect your trip.

Can I fish if I don't speak Japanese?

Of course.

Our international fishing guide service is designed for anglers visiting Japan from overseas. English support is available for our guided trips by optional.

Can I target a specific fish?

Yes.

We offer guided trips targeting different species and fishing styles throughout Japan.

However, fishing is affected by season, weather, water conditions, and the availability of baitfish, so we cannot guarantee a catch.

We will always choose the best approach based on the conditions on the day of your trip.
